Drive After Stake Conference In Cody

We all decided to take a picnic lunch and head up north fork toward Yellowstone. We didn't make it to the park but enjoyed all of these animals as well as several hundred deer and antelope throughout the afternoon.  The moose calf is a little tough to spot with a tree branch in the way.  We only went about 40 miles west of Cody.

A Poem By Julia

I cannot go to school today

I’m far too sick so stay away

I cannot even go and play

Don’t make me go to school

I can’t get out of my own bed

My head feels like it’s stuffed with lead

The thermometer is turning red

Don’t make me go to school

My nose drips like a waterfall

I cannot stop it, not at all

The tissue pile is ten feet tall

Don’t make me go to school

My stomach hurts

My joints ache

My throat, it burns

Like Mom’s last cake

My temperature is 103

I’m turning green as you can see

Something’s swelling on my knee

Don’t make me go to school

What’s that you say?

It’s Saturday!?

Bye now, I’m going out to play.

Estes Rocket Boys

Tyler (orange shirt) and Ryan (blue shirt) beat the odds lighting their rockets with a fuse instead of the solar igniters that come with the rocket engines and recovering them in a fairly strong breeze.  Click on the arrow to watch the videos.
