Fun With Fireworks

This reminded me of the good old days when I was a kid although I did not have the luxury of going to the store to buy more firecrackers and bottle rockets when I ran out.

NOTE:  The video quality is not the best, however, if you look just over the left side of the slide you can see the flash from the bottle rocket.

Tyler's Lawn Mower Project

For years now out behind the school, a riding lawn mower has laid dormant. For about a month, Tyler has been asking us to ask the principal if we could buy it and fix it up. At first, the answer was no, however, in time a deal was struck.  Tyler could have the mower in exchange for working at school over the summer.  With a little bit of elbow grease and new parts, the yellow amd green machine has roared to life. Repairs are not complete however, the blades need help and the motor burns some oil. Even with these setbacks, Tyler and Julia's facial expressions say it all.

Enjoying Work

Here are some reasons I enjoy working at Big Horn County Weed and Pest here in Wyoming.  Note the native observers (last two photos).  Shot on location, these pictures were taken out in the Beaver Creek area, east of Greybull and west of the community of Shell.  The red Kawasaki Mule is mine and the John Deere Gator (green and yellow) is driven my co-worker. In the background you can see the snow capped Bighorn Mountains.

Meeteetsee Wyoming Country

Yesterday Tyler had a Scout outing at Upper Sunshine Reservoir about 10 miles west of Meteetsee Wyoming.  Here are a few pictures our trip and that area.  As you can see in the one photo the fish were biting.
