Cody Canyon and Buffalo Bill Dam (see individual discriptions below pictures)

Picture 1.  Is near the mouth of the canyon about five miles east of Cody on the way to Yellowstone.  I like the tree to the right of the boulder near the bottom of the picture. It's growing around the boulder.

Picture 2.  Bill Cody Dam in the small cement structure to the right of the half mile long tunnel.  Bill Cody was the prototype for Hoover Dam and was the tallest dam of its type in the world at the time.  I's 70 feet wide by 325 feet tall.  During tourist season you can walk out on the dam.  Sorry about the picture being a bit out of focus, it best illustrated the setting.

Picture 3.  The half mile long tunnel from the inside.  It is one of three tunnels in a row.

Picture 4.  The south rim at the mouth of Cody Canyon.

Picture 5.  Close up of the cliff on the right from picture 4.
