Martins Cove
This picture was taken as we were nearing the end of the 2.5 mile hike (2.5 miles one way). This photo was taken from the south draw looking up into the Cove. Many saints were camped in the low areas of both draws trying to escape the howling winds. Late one night, a sever wind blew all of the tents down, fortunately no one was hurt. Four or five nights were spent in the Cove waiting out the storm. It's a wonder anyone survived with subzero tempratures and seventy plus mile an hour winds.
