Easter Vacation in Sherman Oaks California
Through the use of free flight vouchers, we got to travel to Sherman Oaks California to see Rick and Charlene for spring break. While there we had the opportunity to see the Los Angeles Temple, Ride the subway, walk through downtown LA, visit and open air market, see the Getty Art Museum, visit the beach at Santa Monica, drive through Beverly Hills, and see the second biggest public library in the U.S.. We had a blast.
Our trip home resembled the movie "Trains, Plains, and Automobiles. We were five minutes late checking in at the airport and missed our flight so we had to rent a car to get home. That leg of the journey took us through Las Vegas at night where we stopped to see the outdoor water show at the Beliagio and then walked around downtown for a couple of hours and then drove to grandma's to spend the night.
