One That Got Away

There are two photos of this deer posted at the bottom of the last entry.  It was fun to watch this guy just 20 yards off of the road just 15 miles from home. 

Some Of The Locals

All but the last two photos are of different deer.  I took a drive about 15 miles out of town westward and found these guys just off of the road.  This evening I saw dozens of shootable bucks and about 300 deer total. 

Decent Deer Burlington Wyoming

This guy is fairly typical of ten other bucks we saw while elk hunting off the highway between Meeteetse and Burlington about fifteen miles from here.  All together, we saw three to five hundred deer and about twenty to thirty other bucks along with the ten. 

A Second Cold Night In Burlington Wyoming

I took this picture this morning at 6:30am on our porch.  18-20 below zero F.

Cold, Cold, Cold

Cold weather has come our way early this year.  This morning the thermometer on our porch was at -14 F.  As you can see, it is 7:30 this morning and is beginning to warm-up its now about -12 F.  The projected high for the day is going to be around 7 degrees above.  It's weird to think that the present temperature outside is colder than our freezer. 

Tyler Burlington Vs Basin At Burlington, WY

 

Today Burlington played Basin.  Burlington 8th grade won the 1st game and no score for either team in the sixth grade battle.  In the 1st photo Tyler is being doubled teamed.  In the 3rd Photo Ty is watching the ball Great! and in the 4th Photo, Tyler hit  the ball carrier # 93 and he is going down.  Tyler is #72 with Blue Gloves.

Here are a few photos of Tyler playing a number of position.  Just look for the kid with the BLUE GLOVES (Number 72) and that's Tyler.  In the top photo Tyler is the one gabbing the ball carrier by the jersey.
