Julia had the opportunity to be in a county wide Spelling Bee for all of the school districts. She made It into the 4th round of 5 and earned the certificates posted above. The second picture is of a home made paper and wood airplane that Tyler decided to build from scratch (no plans). It kind of flies, and the third frame (Video) is of Tyler in the Color Guard for the Blue and Gold Banquet held tonight at the church in Burlington. Just CLICK on the small black arrow at watch the colors be presented.

The Spotlight Dancers
Julia and Tyler decided to put on a Black Light Dance Show for us last night. It took them a few hours to put everything together including make-up. The top two photos are close-ups of them and the last two frames will play their routines. In the last video the music is hard to hear so, turn it up. Enjoy! Just CLICK on the arrows of the two bottom images to view the video.

More Fun Stuff
I couldn't resist. Tyler decided to save a day old doughnut for his lunch tomorrow and wrote the note attached to the Tupperware container. We are working on his spelling. The second photos is of Julia's desk in her room. Last fall she made the pencil holder in 7th grade woodshop. Not bad for a first time woodshop project.

My First Splake Trout From Lower Sunshine Reservoir
Roughly fifty miles west of Burlington just outside of the small town of Meteetse Wyoming lies lower Sunshine Reservoir. There with Tim Dehl and his son Jayden, I caught my first three Splake Trout through 12 inches of ice on store bought shrimp. These fish are a cross between a Brook and a Lake Trout. I included close-ups of them in the kitchen sink to illustrate their markings. Click on the arrow of the black screen to see a 360 degree view of the lake.
